If it’s of interest or helpful to anyone, here are my PhD in Information Science Application Materials that I submitted to UMSI’s doctoral program

What am I up to? 
I recently finished my 3rd year of my PhD program, and am about to begin a summer wrapping up my dissertation proposal——I'm currently in the midst of a reading/writing frenzy as I hope to defend my proposal by mid-summer. I also recently secured funding for my dissertation, which is very exciting!

I'll be also working as a Graduate Student Research Assistant with my advisor and other students from our lab. 

In my personal life, I'll be trying to enjoy the sunshine, drinking lots of iced coffees and iced teas, and hopefully finding time to read some fiction. My to-read list is quite long, and I need to finish two books I'm in the middle of: The Arsonist's City by Hala Alyan, and Butter by Asako Yuzuki.
